Notes - Evangelical Visitor:
KEEFER.?Bro. Samuel P. Keefer, formerly of near Hershey, Dauphin county. Pa., died very suddenly of heart disease on the street near his home while engaged in hauling wood on Saturday, April 2, 1910, aged 51 years, 11 months and 8 days. Bro. Keefer was a devoted follower of Christ, a regular attendant at religious services, ready to testify to the saving grace of Jesus Christ and stood as a pillar to the word as taught by the brotherhood. The church has lost a worker by his death. He is survived by his wife, Mary A. Keefer (nee Smith), seven sons, and three daughters, all married but three. Services were conducted in the German Baptist church, in Palmyra, by Elder Jacob Kreider, and Henry Light of the United Zion?s Children. Text, Luke 23:28, selected by the family.
