  Evidence points to Anna Doner being the sister of Michael Doner of Lebanon County, Pennsylvania -- hence the daughter of Johannes and Anna (Schlapfer) Doner. Certainly, both Anna and Michael lived as neighbours, were contemporaries, belonged to the same church fellowship and their children became linked through marriage. There were no other known members of the Doner family living in this setting at this time.
