  Note from Tom Brick: Peter Brick and his wife Barbara Eckert Brick along with their children arrived in New York aboard the ship Marengo on 11 Aug 1833. Peter was age 39 and Barbara was 37. The children were Elizabeth, Peter P, Michael, Nicholas, Maria, Barbara, and Anna. Two more children were born to them in Canada: Catherine and Margaret. In the 1851 and the 1861census his occupation is given as laborer.
