      WAGLER, Emerson - Passed away peacefully, at his residence, Nithview Home, New Hamburg on Saturday, June 9, 2007. Emerson had resided in Shakespeare and farmed at RR 1, Shakespeare. He was born 85 years ago in Wilmot Township and was the son of the late Samuel and Emma (Iutzi) Wagler. Emerson was a member of Grace Mennonite Church, New Hamburg. Beloved husband of Magdalene (Lichti) Wagler whom he married June 15, 1946. Dear father of Glen and wife Elizabeth Wagler of Manitoba, Sharon and husband Chuck Sammut of Brampton, Donna and husband Gerald Jantzi of Millbank, Gerry and wife Susie Wagler of Shakespeare, Kay and husband Ron Shantz of St. Clements. Sadly missed by his 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also remembered by his brothers and sister, Wilmer and wife Katie Wagler, Ruby Gingerich all of New Hamburg, Laverne and wife Bernice Wagler of RR 2, Baden, Sam and wife Elda Wagler of Tavistock, Irvin and wife Carol Wagler of RR 1, Shakespeare and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Willis Lichti, Annie and husband Elmer Roth, Louis and wife Loretta Lichti, all of New Hamburg, Nelda Lichti and Catherine and husband Floyd Steinman, all of Tavistock. Emerson was predeceased by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Alvin Gingerich, Barbara and Allan Bast, David and Fannie Lichti, Nick and Verna Lichti, Albert and Kaye Lichti, Julius and Floretta Lichti, Laura Lichti and Laverne Lichti. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at East Zorra Mennonite Church, Tavistock on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Earl Koch and Howard Bean officiating. Interment in the 19th Line Mennonite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Christian Aid Ministries.
