  Obituary - BRAITHWAITE, Barbara (nee Stephens) of Port Dover, passed away peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 in her 73rd year. Cherished mother of Stephen and Jane (Ashenden)of Simcoe, and Mary Ellen of Waterford. Loving grandmother of Garrett David John Braithwaite. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Peter and Diana Stephens, Sue Butler, Glennis and Bill Scott, and Faith and Leonard Sears. Predeceased by brothers Elvin Linton Stephens and Llewellyn Stephens, sister Yvonne Snively and brothers-in-law, Bill Butler and Vern Snively. Barb was a life long resident of Port Dover and worked for DeKoning Meats as a butcher for 40 years. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Barb's life will be held on Saturday January 2, 2010 at 11 am at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519) 583-1530.
