      Firmi, Ronald Peter - Ron's family is saddened to announce his passing on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at his residence in Collingwood. He is survived by his wife Patricia Anne (nee Eckert) Firmi and his four fine children of who he was profoundly proud. Rhonda (John Guy) children Michael, Alexandria and Christian; Karen (Mark Medensky) children Teddi, Brittany, Danny, Brigg, Madeline and Haley; Michael (Keyla) daughter Judi; Judi (Ted Brohman) children Ronnie, Caroline and Charlie. His memory will be cherished by his brother Louis Firmi (Rose), sisters Ida (Art Hill), Delcie (Andrew MacDonald) and brother-in-law Ralph Stewart and Rick Eckert (Joan). His many nieces and nephews will remember him as the gentle man he was. Ron was the youngest child of the late Guiditta and Angelo, and brother of the late Edith Stewart and Sarah Finch and her husband Ray. Ron was the founder of Pepi's Pizza in 1962 and Pepi's Upper Crust, Collingwood in 1977. He was delighted his daughter took over the pizza operation. Ronald's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 1-3 and 7-9 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish prayers 8:30 PM Sunday evening. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home chapel at 10:20 AM on Monday, January 21, 2008 followed by procession to St. Anthony Daniel R.C. Church (29 Midland Dr., Kitchener) for Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment Woodland Cemetery followed by a reception at the restaurant 20 King St., Kitchener. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson's Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
