  Obituary - John David "Smitty" Smith - Passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the Port Colborne General Hospital at the age of 75. Survived by his previous wife Marjorie. Loving father of Kasey, Ken, Rob, Guy, late son Jeffrey, Gayle, Jereldine, Christine, Jackie, Bonnie, Judy and late daughter Joanne. John will be dearly missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and by his many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his brothers Jim Smith, Stan Cousins and sisters Jean Burley, Mary Dougherty, Carol Crone, Joy of California and a late brother Jeri Smith. He will be missed by his dearest sisters-in-law Bev Wilcox, Donna Fish and brother-in-law Boyne Huffman. The family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, February 1. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 2 in the Armstrong Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. If so desired, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
