Obituary - PORTER, Paulette - Passed away surrounded by her loving family, after a brief battle with cancer on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 in her 62nd year. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Colin and Anne Marie of Port Dover and Aaron and Robin of Port Ryerse. Proud and loving Grammy of Kayla. Dear sister-in-law of John Mattiazzi, and loving Aunt of Lee Ann and Tyler. Predeceased by her husband Richard, sister, Betty Ann Mattiazzi and brother-in-law, Vic Porter. Paulette will be sadly missed by her many other relatives and friends. She was an avid gardener and loved spending hours tending to her plants at her home in Port Ryerse where she has lived since 1988. Friends were invited to meet with the family for visitation on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Thompson Waters Funeral Home, 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519) 583-1530 from 6 pm to 9 pm (evening only), there will be no funeral service.
