Obituary - McKNIGHT, Robert - Peacefully, at Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, in his 78th year. Dearly Beloved husband of June McKnight. Loving Father of Alan (Pat) of Brampton and Lyle (Stephanie) of Port Dover. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Murray (Amber), Amanda, Norah, Ryan and Andrew, his great grandchild James, his brothers and sisters Russell (Sally) Port Dover, Norma Jepson (Howard) of Hagersville, Donald (Fran) of Burford and Joyce (Cliff) Shank of Port Dover and his brothers in law Ron Butchart of Port Dover and Wray Williams of Hamilton. Predeceased by his sister Janet Butchart and sister in law Jean Williams. Robert was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received, by the family, Friday, June 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. at THE THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover (519-583-1530). Service will be held Saturday June 16 at 11 am at Knox Presbyterian Church (Chapman & St. George) with the Rev Cathy Kay officiating, followed by Interment in Port Dover Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy to the Alzheimer Society, Knox Presbyterian Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated, by the family.
