    • Obituary - RYERSE, Nellie May of Port Dover at Norfolk General Hospital on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 in her 79th year. Predeceased by her husband Leo. Dearly loved companion of Wray Hutchinson. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Gerald and Donna of Brantford, Donald and Debbie of Norwich, Raymond of Brantford, Larry and Debbie of Hamilton, Allan and Caterina of Port Dover, Ruth Martin and Paul of Vittoria, Thelma Scott of Port Dover, Patricia Taylor and Don of Brantford, and Betty Ann McFadzean and Art of Port Dover. Much loved grandmother of sixteen, great grandmother of nine and great great grandmother of two. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Fred Lavers and Judy of Simcoe, Mary Welch and Bill of Port Dover and Dave Laskey of Kingsville. Predeceased by her sister Edna Laskey and son-in-law Chuck Scott. Nellie will be sadly missed by her children and fondly remembered by the friends she danced with. Friends were invited to meet with the family Thursday, September 27, 2007, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Thompson Waters Funeral Home, 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519-583-1530). A Service to Celebrate Nellie’s life was held Friday, September 28, 2007 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Anglican Church (Market & St. George Sts.) Port Dover. Father Kendall Reimer officiated. Interment Port Dover Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
