    • Obituary - CARR, Evelyn - (1930-2011). Passed away, peacefully into the welcoming arms of her Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ, Miss Evelyn Lillian Carr on Monday, October 17th, 2011, at the family home of John and Maria Smits, R.R.5, Waterford, at the age of 81. Evelyn is survived by her sister Kathleen Vivian (Kathy) Carr of R.R.5, Waterford and she will also be sadly missed by John, Maria, Ace, Erwin, Ana, Marcel, Jen, Makayla and Logan along with many other friends and family. Survived by a step nephew Ken and Cheryl Carr of R.R.6, Simcoe. Predeceased by her parents Walter Carr and the late former Nellie Mudford (both were from Port Rowan), her brother Robert Allan Carr, her half brothers Gordon Carr and Kenneth Carr Sr. and a half sister Mildred Clark. Evelyn is resting at the VERHOEVE FUNERAL HOME , Langton (519-875-4464) for visitation Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Complete Funeral Service to celebrate Evelyn's life to be conducted on Wednesday, October 19th, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Verhoeve Funeral Home Chapel, Langton by Pastor Jim Rowbottom of the Grace Family Fellowship Church, Courtland. Interment will be in the Carr Family Plot in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Walsingham. Memorial donations payable by cheque to Camp Trillium/Rainbow Lake or the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged through the Verhoeve Funeral Home, Langton.
