  Query from CousinConnect.com March 21, 2004 - I am looking for information on the Bonaccorso family. The originated for Trabia Sicily. My ggrandfather is Filippo Bonaccorso b. Dec 11 1860 in Trabia. d. ? in Ontario Canada. His parents names were Salvatore Bonaccorso and Teresa Tardia or Tardio. He married San Salvatora Fardella in Sept. 1893 in Kansas City Missouri.She was born Sept. 1973. Her parents names were Santa Mary Ceravola and Leonardo Fardella. Filippo went to the States about 1890 and San Salvatora went over about 1893. They had 2 children in the U.S. and they moved to Canada where they had 10 more children who lived. Both Filippo and Salvatora are buried in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada. We also have recently found out that Filippo had a brother named Matteo Bonaccorso who went over to the States and stayed there having married. We have alot of info pertaining to Filippo and his family and on down but we would like to find some more info on his family from Trabia. being an Sicilian family I would imagine there were many more children from Teresa and Salvatore. We have heard rumors of a sister , but have no other info on her. If any one can help please contact me. Other names in our family line are: Domenico, Morrell, Molina, Rizzo, Moley, and many more.
