Obituary - Edith Clement
CLEMENT Edith (nee Cunningham) of Port Dover, in her 83rd year, died Friday, February 29, 2008 at Dover Cliffs Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband Archie (1992). Loving mother of David and Elizabeth of Winnipeg, Diane Clement and Doug Johnston of Brantford, Karon Bobo of Port Dover, Sharon and Ernie Haywood of Port Dover and, Jeannie McGlade of Simcoe. Cherished grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of seventeen. Dearly loved sister of Warren "Dutch" and Doreen Cunningham, Irene Cunningham, Dorothy Bennett and, Evelyn Clement. Predeceased by her son Daryl, son-in-law Roger Bobo, brothers Bill, Elmer and Merle and, sisters Violet Lampkin, Mae Soles and, Marie Battison. Prior to retirement, Edith was a long time employee of the Erie Beach Hotel and an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #158. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, (Chapman & St. George Sts.) Port Dover on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 1 p.m. Father Kendall Reimer and Pastor Paul Burton officiating. Donations to Camp Trillium Rainbow Lake or Ronald McDonald House would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Thompson Waters Funeral Home (519-583-1530).
