Services Are Held For Blanche Green
Mrs. Blanche C. Backus Green wife of Francis A. Green of Sennett, 56, died suddenly at City hospital Saturday, following a heart attack suffered while in Auburn. She was born in Auburn and had always resided in that area.
She leaves behind her husband, six sons, Leonard, Arthur, Edward, Willis, Allen and Francis Green Jr., all of Auburn; one daughter, Miss Betty Green, also of Auburn, her father Frank Backus of Geneva; four sisters, Mrs. John Harvey of Auburn, Mrs. Fred Bostwick of Watertown, Mrs. Thomas McAndrew of Union Springs and Mrs. James Feddigan of Sampson; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services were at 2 p. m. Saturday at the funeral home of E. A. Meiece & son, with Rev. Henry C. Sears, pastor of the Wall Street Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in Soule cemetery.
