    • Obituary - MUMMERY, Mary - 1921-2012 - Beloved mother of Paulette Klassen (John), Debbie Beal (Ken) and Darryn Mummery. Grandmother to 26. Sister of Bill Warnock (Betty). Predeceased by parents David and Martha Warnock and brother David. She worked in Massey's as a welder during the war. Our mother loved to travel. She was one of the first women realtors in Brantford. At a family picnic when she was 65 she hit the ball and ran the bases. Always up for a challenge always the life of the party and loved to dance and sing. A life well lived and she will be missed. Rest now mom. Our mother succumbed to a valiant fight with Dementia caused by undiagnosed Parathyroid Tumors. She would want to tell everyone if you feel like you are having memory problems ask your doctor to do a simple blood test called PTH. Many thanks to Parkview Nursing Home and the caring staff of Gardenview wing for 5 years of tender care. Cremation has taken place and a gathering of remembrance is planned for the family. Donations may be made in Mary's memory to the SPCA or the charity of your choice.
