    • TROUP- Audrey Irene (nee Ellsworth), formerly of Fort Erie and Port Colborne passed away in Ottawa on Tuesday February 9, 2010 at the age of 94 years. She was the dear wife of the late Harvey Troup, loving mother of Kathryn Wolbert (Alan Baxter) of Ottawa, Susan Thorne (Dave) of Port Colborne and Marilyn Parr (Robert) of Waterford, cherished grandmother of Kristine Wolbert McCalla (Mark), Mark Wolbert, Brad Thorne (Jacinthe), Amy Thorne Allison (Greg), Audrey Parr, Emily (Parr) Seiger (Scott) and great-grandmother of Derek, Scott, Alexa and Lukas McCalla and Erica Thorne. Audrey was predeceased by Harvey (2003), her loving husband of 60 years, her parents Thomas and Irene Ellsworth, her brother and sister-in-law Ken and Violet Ellsworth and her son-in-law Don Wolbert. Born in Ridgeway, Audrey lived most of her life in this area. She graduated from Macdonald Institute (University of Guelph) in 1936 and worked as a dietician at the Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, the Canadian Niagara Power Company and the Provincial Gas Company in Fort Erie. She and Harvey were active members in the Presbyterian churches in Fort Erie and were involved in many other organizations. Mrs. Troup's family will receive visitors at the First Presbyterian Church, 176 Elm St. Port Colborne on Saturday February 13, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Jack Neil Officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the CNIB. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME 135 Clarence St. Port Colborne.
