    • SICKLESTEEL, Nellie Florence - Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Parkview Meadows, Townsend, Ontario. Mrs. Nellie Sicklesteel formerly of Simcoe in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Glen Neidrauer (1961) and Vernon Sicklesteel (1988). Loving mother of Wayne Neidrauer and his wife Nancy of Port Dover and mother-in-law of Ed Mitchell. Cherished grandmother of Nancy and Bill Easdown, Doug and Julie Mitchell, Lisa Neidrauer and Lindsay Neidrauer , great grandmother to Erin and Craig Easdown, Michael and Brett Mitchell. Predeceased by her parents James and Helen Mummery, son; Michael, daughter; Dolores, stepdaughter; Lois, 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Nellie was the last surviving member of the original Mummery family who came to Port Dover from England in 1914. She is survived by 2 sisters-in-law and 2 brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday April 1, 2010 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the FERRIS FUNERAL HOME, 214 Norfolk St. S., Simcoe (519) 426-1314 where the service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Mary Jo Patterson officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Donations made in Nellie’s memory to the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation or St. James United Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
