  NIAGARA FALLS REVIEW, JUNE 26, 1995, PG. B10: SIDER, Rev. Roy Victor - At Gilmore Lodge on Saturday, June 24, 1995. Born in Sherkston, Rev. Sider worked as a pastor for 20 years, the Bishop of the Canadian Conference of the Brethren in Christ for 11 years and retired after serving 12 years as the Director of Overseas Ministries. He also served on several boards during his career. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, his children Duane and his wife Nancy in Virginia, Vance and his wife Judy in Etobicoke, Kevin and his wife Suzanne of Sherkston and Craig and his wife Laura of Oakville, his brother Lorne and his wife Doris of Fort Erie, his sister Gladys and her husband Cecil Climenhage of Stevensville, his sisters-in-law Marion Sider of Fort Erie and Pauline of Sherkston. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and predeceased by his brothers Ralph and Claude. Friends may call at the Williams Funeral Home, 722 Ridge Road North, Ridgeway from 2-4 and 7-9 Monday. Funeral services will be conducted at the Sherkston Brethren in Christ Church Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in the Sherkston Church Cemetery.
