Ann Bloomer, born Ireland, daughter of Alex and Elizabeth Weir married Jacob Garner on July 31, 1859. I find no marriage or death for either Hiram Silverthorn or John Bloom.
When Mary Jane marries David Barber in 1861 she is Mary Jane Silverthorn, also with the birth of her daughter Letentia May in 1887. With the birth of her daughter Lillie Minerva in 1890 she is given as Mary Jane Bloom. At Aquilla's marriage in 1898 he names her as Mary Jane Bloom, at Abraham's marriage in 1906 he names his mother as Mary Jane Garner. At David Barber's marriage in 1913 he names his mother as Mary Jane Garner, when he registers her death in 1924 he names her father as John Bloom, her mother Ann Weir. At Lillie Minerva's marriage in 1923 her mother is given as Mary Jane Bloom. Mary Jane is always born Ontario on the census, but when registering her death her son David says she was born Ireland. At her marriage, where her sister Mary Jane Barber is a witness, Elizabeth says she was born Canada.
