  From "Two Hundred Years With The Siders" compiled by Harold Sider and Ron Sider - Adam was born in the Stevensville area in the Tunker community. Shortly after his marriage he lived with his cousin Abraham Sider, west of Stevensville. The 1871 Census shows him living in Pelham Township, where he was listed as a farmer and Lutheran.
