  Born Rainham Township, Ontario. Married Nancy Temple, 1845. Married Mrs. Gallagher, a lady from Waterford who worked with a circus in the United States. Said to have died in Erie, Pennsylvania. On his death bed he wished his two youngest daughters to return to Springvale to express his sorrow for having left his family. The girls did visit Springvale for a week but their names are not remembered.
