    • Meadows - Cossar House
      Haldimand Heritage Park:

In 1859 Charles T. Meadows, an old country carpenter and cabinet maker born in England, was working on a farm outside Brantford and looking for land. In 1861 he was told of a farm in South Cayuga, part of the Fradenburgh Tract along the Grand River. Meadows bought the farm and moved in February of 1862. This house with it's fine dovetailing was built by Meadows shortly afterwards. The house was last owned by a Cossar who was married to a Meadows descendant.
