Letter from Jess & Jean Sitter to Hiram Weaver
      Lancaster, N.Y.
      Feb. 13, 1936
      Dear Hyram,
Just a few lines to tell you that you have our heart felt sympathy in the death of your father, Uncle Jess. I always thought a lot of him and hoped to see him again as soon as the weather would break so we can get over, but I guess when our time comes we can't wait for anyone. He lived a good old age and we were glad he went to your place to live this winter. We would liked to have gotten over to be with you all at the funeral but it was impossible for us to do so. Our thoughts were with you though at the time. We also want to thank you for your kindness to mother. We do our best and would like to have her here with us but know she's more satisfied over there and with people more like herself so will do all we can to make it pleasant for her and feel relieved to know you are near her. She can't speak well enough of Barbara, how good & kind she is to her. This will be all this time and hope to see you soon with best wishes to you both we remain
      Your Cousins
      Jean & Jess
