Probate Will of Abraham Gee Deceased:
In Her Majesty's Surrogate Court of the County of Louth Be it known that on the twenty ninth day of September A.D. 1865 The Last Will and Testament of Abraham Gee of the Township of Clinton in the County of Lincoln yeoman deceased who died on or about the ninth day of September A. D. 1865 at Clinton aforesaid who at the time of his death had his fixed place of abode at Clinton aforesaid in the said County of Lincoln was proved and Registered in the Said Surrogate Court a true copy of which said Last Will and Testament is hereunto annexed and that the administration of all and Singular the personal Estate and effects rights and credits of the said deceased and in any way concerning his will was granted by the aforesaid Court to Leonard McGlashen of Pelham in the County of Welland Clergyman and Hiram Gee of the Township of Rainham in the County of Haldimand Esquire the Executors named in the said Will they being duly sworn faithfully to administer the same by paying the just debts of the testator and the Legacies contained in his Will so far as they are thereunto bound by Law and to Establish a true and perfect Inventory of all and Singular the said Estate and Effects rights and Credits and render a just and true account of their Executorship whenever required by law to do so.

This Instrument Witnesseth that Abraham Gee of the Township of Clinton County of Lincoln and Province of Upper Canada being of sound and disposing mind and memory and understanding do make publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament by me heretofore made. My Will is that first that my funeral charges and just debts shall be paid by my Executors hereinafter named the Residue of my estate and property which shall not be required for the payment of my just debts funeral charges and the expenses attending the Execution of this my Will and administration of my Estate I give and dispose of as follows to wit I give and devise to my beloved wife Ellen Gee all my goods and chattels of whatever name or nature to her and her assigns forever also I give devise and bequeath unto my said wife Ellen Gee one hundred acres of land and being composed of the South half of Lot number Sixteen in the third Concession of the Township of Gainsborough in the aforesaid County of Lincoln for the period of her natural life and at her death the same to be Sold by manner following to wit one hundred Dollars to be paid to a Ellen wife of Woodruff Price one fourth of the Balance to be paid to my sister Sarah wife of Samuel Burns the balance to my sisters Abigail wife of Peter Tice and Anna wife of John Johnson Lydia wife of Adam Beamer and the heirs of my deceased Brothers and hereby appoint my nephew Hiram Gee and my brother in law the Rev. Leonard McGlashen Executors to this my Last Will in testimony whereof the said Abraham Gee have hereunto Subscribed my name and affixed my Seal this nineteenth day of August in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Sixty five.
