  By Instruments No. 3997, 3998, 3999 and 4000 dated August 8th, 1853 and registered January 5th, 1856 Lots 1 & 2, Concession 5, Rainham are divided by a Deed of Gift amongst four of Joseph Gee's sons [100 acres each] viz: Uriah, Hiram, Ephraim and Abraham, from his marriage to Susannah Hoover. The north part of Lot 1, Concession 3, Rainham, 90 acres inherited by his wife Susannah from her father Abraham Hoover went to their son Jonathan. Hiram Gee received from his father Joseph Gee by a Deed of Gift, Instrument No. 3997, dated August 8, 1853, Registered January 5, 1856 the North Half of the North Half of Lot 1, Concession 5, Rainham and the North Half of the North Half of Lot 2, Concession 5, Raiham, 100 acres. After his brother Uriah Gee's death, Hiram Gee married his widow Mary Ann Hall.
