  Will: 1811, John Hoover inherited from his father Christian Hoover Lot 8, Concession 1, Rainham Township, 200 acres more or less. John Hoover was a Fuller and lived in Markham. After his brother Samuel's wife's death John and his wife Christina took Samuel's daughter Anna to Markham where she lived with them until John's death in 1849.
