Notes - Tradition tells us Henry Hoover was here in Upper Canada but returned to Pennsylvania. The only child we know of, Susannah who married George Boyer, came to Upper Canada and purchased the front 100 acres of Lot 24, Concession 1, Walpole from her aunt and uncle, George and Susannah Wolfe of the Town of Clarence, New York in 1834.
When Henry signed his receipts for inheritance in 1811 and 1821 they are dated within a day or two of Anna Stouffer's and George Eister's and it would appear they are all still living in Pennsylvania and that the Executors Abraham and David travelled there to settle the estate. One of the receipts was witnessed by his nephew John Eyster.
